Visiting Beaches My Favorite Places
Visiting Beaches, My Favorite Places
One of my favorite places to visit is the beach. To me going to the beach is escaping into a different world. The water can be so calm and at other times it can be like a volcano erupting when the waves come crashing in. The sand and water seem different on some beaches than others.
I was twelve years old when I went to the beach for the first time. My first beach I visited was Myrtle Beach. Back then the beaches were not as crowed back then as they are now. It was such a thrill for me to see the ocean for the first time. I was fascinated with the water and how the tide went in and out. It would leave you in the morning and return to your feet in the evening. The waves when they are coming in real strong would knock you down.
When I visited Daytona Beach it was in the winter time. The beach seems so different in the winter. There such a different atmosphere then. They were people driving on the beaches. Seeing people in their coats instead of in their bathing suits seemed very strange. That left more of a feeling of being cold and miserable.
When I visited the beaches in California it was more like going back in history when they were drilling for oil .You could see the oil rigs that were left there. Eating at Hard Rock Café and looking over the ocean was a comforting atmosphere. You saw a lot of scuba divers on the beaches there. It must to be a wonderful sight to see all the different plants and the many types of fish that swim under the ocean waters.
The most beautiful beaches I ever visited were in Hawaii…The water was far more beautiful than you could ever imagine. It was almost like looking into a mirror, because the water was crystal clear and you could see the bottom of the ocean as clear as day.
In summing up the beach with its beautiful soothing feeling when the water is calm and when the waves come crashing in it is like a thunder storm going over. This makes the joy and thrill of it all.

Hey Ann,
This is Wanda. My first time at the beach, I’m not sure how old I was, but I was still young enough to notice that this is much bigger than any pool that I had ever swam in. That large body of water scared me to death. I am to this day a little frightened to swim in the ocean. I do, because of my grandchildren tugging at me, grandma come on. I agree with you, it is one of the most amzing sights that God ever created. But I am more of the going to the mountain type of person. It is another one of my favorite sights. These sights are so beautiful that God has created for us to visit and to view.
